“During my west coast road trip, we ended our trip at this Airbnb in downtown Portland! It was even better in person than in the photos. The room was HUGE – like staying in an apartment. Plus, it had the coziness of staying in a historic building! We were within walking distance of the Portland Botanical Garden, tons of great bars and restaurants, and we even got discounts on local food tours! This was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. I still need to message the owner to ask what sheets they use because they were like butter. 10/10.” – Madison, Hip sidekick

“There’s always a small bit of uncertainty when picking a new place to stay (especially in a different country), but my wife and I are both in agreement — we LOVED the beachhouse at Puerto Penesco. The two-minute walk to a nearly unpopulated beach was not something we expected we’d enjoy as much as we did. Not to mention, we met some new vendor friends who hand-crafted fresh cocktails in juicy pineapples. What’s not to love? We are already planning our next trip!” – Shane, Hip sidekick

The place is absolutely beautiful and as someone who is very detail and high aesthetics oriented, I can tell you these hosts have thought of everything!” – Sara, Hip sidekick
7. Emily shared a Florida VRBO that her family stayed at for Spring Break.
You’ll look forward to this stay if you’re looking to host a large family and want your choice between the beach or the pool!
Here are the features we love most about this Airbnb location:
- Suitable for large groups

- Endless games
- Included beach essentials
- AC
- Washer and dryer
- Included bicycles

“My parents rented this house for Spring break last year with me, my boyfriend, my oldest brother, and my middle brother with his wife and 2 kids. There’s so much to do in the house and the spaciousness was key for us. The main floor is massive and spread out so that everyone could have their own sleep/wake-up schedules without disturbing one another. The pool was great and there is a sunbathing area off the side when you don’t want to be in the commotion of splashing around. The 3rd floor with the pool table was great for my oldest brother during the day since it’s a bit separated and he was doing some remote work during vacation. Then at night, we did some tournaments at the pool table and there was a top-floor patio off that room with fire (so relaxing!). The bottom floor/garage was a blast and would be awesome for families with active kiddos. There is pretty much every game/sport you can imagine & it’s air-conditioned so kids could spend the whole day down there while parents and other family members relaxed. There’s beach access and they had everything you could need for a beach vacation — chairs, umbrellas, bikes, toys, etc. This is an awesome spot for a big family with kids/grandkids, or even two smaller families with kids could be easily accommodated here!” – Emily, Hip sidekick

The furnishings were very nice, everything was super clean, and it had an awesome setting! There’s a creek right below the property and we loved being surrounded by trees.
