We’ve got family-friendly events around Dallas like a visit from the CAMP + Kroger ice cream truck, a virtual play for kids about racism and more. Find the CAMP + Kroger Ice Cream Truck
CAMP counselors will be bringing the CAMP spirit to about 15 locations throughout Dallas from Highland Park to Plano this month. They will lead games + crafts like Tie Dye and Capture the Flag in a socially distant way right from the truck. Counselors will be handing out free Kroger ice cream everyday and you can follow the truck’s whereabouts that will be posted on camp.com and CAMP's instagram stories.
CAMP will also be hosting a sweepstakes on their instagram page starting July 31 for three lucky winners to have the truck visit their backyards. Aug. 1-31. Event details.

A Kids Play About Racism
A groundbreaking collaboration among 37 Theatres for Young Audiences across the United States, led by the lead producing team of Bay Area Children’s Theatre, Seattle Children’s Theatre, and Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, will present the virtual premiere of A Kids Play About Racism, a theatrical adaptation of Jelani Memory’s A Kids Book About Racism. Dessert Goals Festival
Traditionally hosted in New York & LA, the family-friendly digital event, produced by festival founder Miraya Berke, will bring people together nationwide to experience Dessert Goals in a whole new way. Cliburn Kids with Buddy Bray
Take a break from at-home school studies to have some music fun, as we explore rhythm, storytelling, dance, and listening games. Buddy Bray—Cliburn artistic advisor and co-author of the Cliburn in the Classroom signature in-school program—will lead kids on short (7- to 10-minute), entertaining, and educational journeys, twice a week.
