Just like that, we are already in the final third of 2021 - is it me, or did this year zip by really quickly??? The year-end exams are round the corner but before that, there is still the September School Holidays for kids (and parents) to get through!

My Community Festival 2021

My Community Festival is a ground-up initiative showcasing Singapore’s community stories through immersive tours, tastings and other cultural and heritage experiences. From the fading craft of carving names into stone to immortalise the memories of the dead, to the centuries-old art form of wayang kulit — these are just some of the traditions still practised by Singapore’s multi-faceted communities. These form the cornerstone of My Community Festival (MCF), the ground-up community heritage festival that will be returning for its second edition from 10 September - 3 October 2021. 

Organised by non-profit organisation My Community - with support from the Singapore Tourism Board - the festival is an opportunity for festival-goers to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds, while opening doors to the hidden gems within Singapore’s neighbourhoods.
